Like most Ingersoll Rand products, they meet ASME B30.16 Specifications, however the HLK and it’s relative: the MLK series, each share the same features:

• 100% cycle of duty: HLK Models are rated as HMI duty classification A5, severe duty. This equates to FEM 9.511 duty classification 2m, which tells you how hard a situation it can manage to stay operational in.
• Pilot pendent control: provides a variable pressure signal to the valve chest, where flow to the hoist is metered accordingly; pendent length does not affect performance because no air travels to the pendant; control hoses are small, flexible, and easily converted to different lengths.
• The HLK Series also incorporates a larger chain wheel to accommodate a 3/8″diameter chain, and a lower gear ratio to handle increased capacities. The HLK Series capacities range from 2,200 – 13,200 lbs (1 – 6 metric tons).
